GENERAL ASSISTANCE DETAILS
The first step to receive assistance is by completing the General Assistance application.
Within 48 hours or less, St. Vincent de Paul's Outreach department will contact the applicant to arrange a home visit with two Vincentian volunteers.
During the home visit, the applicant will have the opportunity to talk with the Vincentians regarding your personal situation.
Together, we seek to find help for the applicant and the applicant's family.
Emergency financial assistance is frequently needed and may require board approval. Generally a decision can be given within a few days. Other times, Vincentians will make a referral to another agency. It is not uncommon for our conference to work with other agencies to better assist people.
The first step in getting help is filling out our Application for Assistance online or at our store. We will contact you within a day or two.
WARM-UP FOR WINTER
St. Vincent de Paul accepts new or gently used children coats, jackets, snow pants, snow bibs, hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, and boots.
